How to Plan the Perfect Thanksgiving Menu2

In just over a week it will be the day that officially kicks off the holiday season. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays… however when you are lover of food like me, what is there not to like? It’s also a time of reflection and gratitude for all of the things that have come and gone in your life. And family… we can’t forget family. It’s a time to gather with family – both by blood and the family of friends you hand picked – to share memories, catch up, laugh, and eat. Let’s not forget it’s also time to carb up in preparation for your Black Friday shopping blitz.

I love putting together parties, gatherings, and dinner parties so it was just natural when I took over the duty of Thanksgiving. In fact, when time comes for me to handover the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner crowns someone is going to have to pry them with the jaws of life from my hands. I’d love to say that’s a bit of an exaggeration. As you can imagine I love to put together the perfect menu and tablescape. I can spend hours on Pinterest just scouring boards and pinning away all the delicious recipes that rank as possibilities to make it onto my final menu. This year I may have gone a little trigger happy on my pinning finger because I have one heck of a list of delicious possibilities to choose from. If you love a good party and a food lover you can imagine the difficulty this is for me. But someone has to do it, right?? When it comes to choosing the perfect holiday menu it’s kind of like putting together a puzzle… a delicious puzzle. To help you put together your holiday menu my Type-A Personality has put a little something together to help you create the perfect thanksgiving menu.
