Today’s Saturday home is as assuming as is is surprising. This classic Antebellum is located in Leipers Fork, a city located about 30 miles south of downtown Nashville. Situated on 118 acres, this Greek Revival home is by far the most clever house I have seen in a long time.
Saturday Finds Luxury Home – Are you living at the right address?
Built from a lifetime collection of salvaged materials throughout the Southeast, this home pulls out all the stops. Classic with a modern, yet very eclectic twist. Stunning wood floors, crown molding and a kitchen fit for any gourmet chef – one with prolific imagination. This farmhouse sounds like a story book ending perfect for any grandma, right? ha!
Think again. Assuming that the details of this Antebellum home would be anything ordinary, you’d be wrong. This house holds a surprise. One filled with colorful eye candy. In fact, every corner adds delight to the senses. And you can tell, this house is full of vivacious ingenuity.
One thing I love most about the creative heart, it just knows things intuitively. It lives through expression no matter the consequence. Creativity abounds in this home through color, originality, finishes and more. Located at 5395 Old Highway 96, this beauty boasts 5 bedrooms, 3 baths and is over 6,000 feet. I can’t imagine what this house has seen over the last 100+ years!
Now to the nitty-gritty. What I love most about homes are their ability to attract their owners. The partner or companion who will best fit the homes energy.
This house resonates to a 22. When practicing the art of numbers we typically pare compound numbers down to a single digit, but not the 22. It is a master number. A special number known as the master architect. But like all architect’s it has its good attributes and a few bad ones.
The 22 warns us to be cautious of overindulgence. He has a tendency to have a little too much fun. This is the fools paradise; a dreamer of dreams who awakens only when surrounded by danger. It warns of mistakes in judgement, and placing faith in those who may not be trustworthy. Full of wonder, awe, curiosity and anticipation, he blindly moves forward, taking risks every chance he gets.
How does that translate as a house? Well the compound number 22, adds to a 4. Yes, yes, I just said we don’t do that with a 22. Bear with me. A 4 vibrates to the planet Uranus. This is all about individualism, originality, and inventiveness. The 4 shows off its’ unconventional behavior and is adept to sudden, unexpected events. Defined by some as creative genius I think we can all agree genius often looks different.
This house attracts an enigma that is unorthodox. One that makes their own rules and lives by the beat of their own drum. A livelihood that doesn’t always match society. Individuality marks every thought and action they do. In this way it can shock others at best, and insult many at worst; and the attempt is always deliberate.
A boisterous artist who thrives on living off the beaten path, will have a strong affinity to a 22 home. Think Russel Brand. This is a place to enjoy troves of friends from kings to paupers. In this home class has no distinction because this is a place of true imagination and enjoyment. Pleasure to the enth degree, come one come all, because here you are welcome.
Based on photos I’d say that all of the above is true. Aside from a few feng shui tweaks, to me, this home is pure magic.
What I find so curious is that every time I study these homes and their numbers, they almost never surprise in their outcomes. The numbers don’t lie. This home attracted its true mate. Its effervescent soul and chromatic artistry makes it evident that this house met its match. And I wouldn’t be surprised if this homes energy feels really good. When its right, its right.
