This ginormous, 72,000 square foot luxury home was offered by Sotheby’s for a cool $149 million- and it just sold. Chocked full of luxurious amenities this is the most expensive home ever built and sold in Chinese history.
Appropriately named Taohuayuan, which translates to “utopia”, this masterpiece sits on a vast 1600+ acres, with 32 bedrooms that strategically face southward for optimal feng shui and sunshine. It also has a grand wine cellar, and decadent living quarters perfect for any billionaire with views that over look a fresh water lake. I personally think its a bit gaudy, but I suppose if you’ve got money to burn, why not?!
