Just in time for lazy summer days, no porch is complete without the perfect spot to read a book, sit with friends and sneak in a little afternoon nap! Nothing is better than sitting on the porch in a comfy spot listening to birds, saying hello to the neighbors…and maybe even enjoying a lovely early afternoon cocktail. Now that is my way of saying yes to a Sunday! Here are some terrific examples of cozy swings to get your ohh’s and ahhh’s going!

I tell ya’ I remember growing up in Southern California and going to grandma’s house for the weekends. She always had a porch swing in the front of her house and we always sat out there, sippin’ tea, reading books and inviting the neighbors over for afternoon impromptu entertaining. Those weekends were filled with great conversation, laughter and lazy relaxation…. and grandma always had an afternoon toddy of champagne or wine. Boy that sounds nice, now I need to get my butt in gear and get me a porch swing too!
