The 2013 Pantone color predictions came out earlier this year and to much of my delight included pink . It includes a total of nine collections but my favorite by far is the Connoisseur collection. It is fitting to my love affair of pink and smoke grey. As most of you know from following my projects and my blog, pink in my opinion belongs in every home. It is a terrific neutral, and works with everything.

Think you can’t add a little pink to your space? Think again.
1) Just a splash
With a splash of color from any accent like flowers, towels, or a dish, pink can easily be added to your space.
2) Be a little daring
Take a refurbished piece of furniture and paint it a soft pink. A great way to delight your guests in an entry way or hall!
3) Fear of Commitment
…And if you have a fear of commitment and just can’t bring yourself to invest in an article of pink anything, there are always flowers.

Amanda: Well…. this is going to be tough for me! Pink is hard for me to warm up to!!! Then again, I’m not a blue person… or so I always thought…and am just now beginning to rather like it. Will let you know what happens with pink!
I keep seeing reds, blues and yellows as being big in 2013. Pink would certainly be included in that spectrum. But personally I lean more toward the neutrals. Love the examples you posted for ideas!
