After living in Nashville for close to twenty years I’ve overlooked the cities greatest asset: Music! SO many of my friends that come to visit me want to hit the scene and visit the Bluebird cafe, the Grand Ole Opry or the Ryman. Every city I’ve ever lived in lands me in the suburbs and I rarely get out to see the sights. Over the past year I’ve made it my mission to check out Nashville’s name sake, Music City, and see for myself what all the fuss is about.

Let me tell you, I never had so much fun! And what I love is that each place had it’s own energy, its own vibe. When I sat in the pews at the Ryman I thought I had arrived to a gospel so rich in history, so sacred, I could barely speak I was in so much awe. I was also shocked at how small the venue was! The Grand Ole Opry was some of the best fun I’ve ever had! Drinking beer and just waiting for the next surprise to walk out on the stage.

No matter what your style of music is, no matter what you think it’s all about I encourage you to add these to your bucket list. Perhaps turn them into Saturday night date nights! You’ll be delighted, surprised and have more fun than you thought possible!
