There is nothing I love more than treasure hunting for fun and unique products. When decorating I love to use antiques and vintage finds as a way to repurpose and reuse. It is a very sustainable way to decorate and many of todays furniture pieces are not made the way they used to be. Not to mention many of todays pieces are very generic!
This past weekend I went to moms in what she likes to call the holler. And shes right, lake of the ozarks is pretty much down in a holler. But I love to go to MO because it houses a plethora of hole in the wall thrift stores, consignment shops and flea markets all screaming at my attention span. Why are there so many? Well MO houses a lot of old lake homes from the 50’s and 60’s. Many of them still in tack as they were 50 years ago. So when the kids get possession of the homes they immediately dump the goods and start remodeling. Hey one mans junk is this designers treasure! Here are this weeks finds so far:
Super excited about these great finds. A little TLC, paint and a whole lot of elbow grease and these beauties will find a new home in no time. Do you have a favorite? All of these pieces will be refinished (Top photo is already refinished) so if you are interested in any of them contact me about availability, finish colors and pricing.
