Can we all just admit that floor mirrors kick ass? Not only are they functional, but they add dimension and decoration to a space. In Feng Shui, mirrors are considered aspirin. That alone should tell you something. But too often I think mirrors are completely underestimated, especially floor mirrors!
I recently did a consultation for a home where the hallway was in need of a floor mirror. But not just any mirror. This mirror had to check a lot of boxes. We searched high and low for the perfect mirror and landed on this one from One Kings Lane:
There is nothing I love more than cowhide. One, it’s sustainable, but more importantly it adds a texture to a space like nothing else. Layered with other things a floor mirror instantly becomes a chic accessory. Here’s a great example I found from the Pottery Barn website:
Don’t you just love this? And let me tell you, if you live in a small place, this is the perfect solution to capture as much light as possible. Floor mirrors are also great for expanding hallways,and entries too. One trick that I do a lot is place two floor mirrors in the dining room. Doubling up food and conversation is always a good idea!

Floor mirrors are great in the bedroom for getting ready for work or that perfect date. But get creative with it. Layer them up, try them in new ways and try using multiple floor mirrors in one place. Placing three large mirrors in any space can instantly add drama in a chic way.
