When I traveled to Las Vegas a few weeks ago I dined at a lovely restaurant called Honey Salt. It bared many great qualities like farm to table herbs, vegetables and small town charm. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was charming and all the small touches made it memorable. If you visit Las Vegas it is well worth the 7 mile distance away from the strip.
1) Tuna tartar with avocado and ginger
Tuna tartar with avocado and ginger…I am still dreaming about this.
2) Kims salad
This delightful salad had fresh tomatoes, handmade mozzarella, hand picked basil and strips of dark chocolate. Sounds weird but was ah-mazing!
3) The bathroom
One of my favorite design elements was in the ladies restroom. They took local business cards and laminated it into wall paper…..so cool!
4) The finishing touches
As if my experience wasn’t already enamored and magical the waiter came by with a notebook filled with testimonials. It was simply placed with the check and if you so desired could leave a note to the chef. What an amazing dining experience.
