I think little spots for taking a quiet nap, or reading a good book are often underestimated. We live such hectic lives that we rarely take such decadent time for ourselves…especially if we could give that time to others. What I find so interesting is that Americans especially feel guilty if they take time for themselves. It is looked at as unproductive. And yet, if we took more time for ourselves we would be able to give so much more. Here, some wonderful examples of quiet spaces to recharge, and rejuvenate, created with simple drapery:
Can you say Ahhhhh? Take a moment for yourself today. Don’t feel guilty. Trust me, when I FORCE myself to take lunch, or a short break, I notice an increase in my productivity and focus. What do think? Are these spaces that you could recharge in? Ummm, yes!!

You are so right, Amanda! I do actually feel guilty if I am reading a book and feel I should be doing something more productive. I love these spaces you’ve shown. The curtains give a cocooning feeling and it would be lovely to read a bit and then take a nap in!
I think all books should be eaten!
NOTHING like a FAB cozy spot!!!
Yummy for the soul!
Now I gotta figure out how to make a little nook without actually having a nook. These are just waay to cute!
