This year for the Fourth of July holiday I thought I would share one of my favorite white sangria recipes. In an effort to share with you my beautiful creation I took a photo of my tasty drink while at moms. Clearly the view far trumps my sangria and my drink making skills are at a minimum when on vacation. ( It is typically a little better constructed and well, prettier looking) Luckily it tastes delicious and after a few of these you won’t care how festive it looks because the view is amazing.
1 bottle white wine
1/2 C organic sugar
1 C white grape juice
1 Can club soda
1/2 can tonic
2 Cups fruit
1 Sprig rosemary
Pour the wine, tonic and club soda into a large pitcher. Gently stir in the grape juice and sugar. Then add your fruit. (I prefer to freeze my fruit so it acts like ice cubes.) Apples, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and any other type of fruit you like, along with your rosemary. Stir gently and place in the fridge for a half hour before serving. Happy Fourth!
