Cafe table

Ok so from the side here it looks as though we just have an ordinary cafe table. Cute and charming the perfect little spot for a cup of coffee or an intimate meal with a friend or loved one.

Then you get to the top…and it ain’t so ordinary no more! Hand crafted by custom casting out of San Francisco, this table is made with a cast aluminum base and a top entirely of cork. Laid in a geometric pattern, the cork top has been cast in clear resin to protect and make suitable a lifetime of abuse. One of a kind, 30″ in diameter and a steal for $895.

Absolutely gorgeous. Can’t find this at TJMAXX! I also love the continuous black, asymmetrical aluminum line incorporated into the design. Gives it a retro contemporary feel.
