The Holiday season is approaching on us fast!  One thing that comes along with the Holiday is the gathering of friends and family around our dining room.  The dining room table serves as an important gathering space for not only an abundance of food (depending on the size) but most importantly, shared moments.

In Feng Shui, the dining room in our home represents money, career and our social life. Entertaining allows us to network, and be social with associates, colleagues and gather with family and loved ones. The larger the dining table the better- this represents strong energy, and allows your career and network to circulate and grow to it’s top capacity. The best energy thrives on is a square, rectangular, oval or octagon shaped table.

Large mirrors are highly auspicious in a dining room because it visually doubles the abundance of friends, family and food, which doubles your wealth.  If you’re planning to do some shopping to spruce up your dining room this season, consider adding a mirror to your space and wait and see what shows up for you in the New Year ahead!

The holiday is meant for sharing moments with loved ones, friends, and family.  As great as this sounds,  it’s not a secret that the holiday season also includes a lot of preparation and can often be a big stress trigger! That’s why I thought it would be the perfect time to provide some tips over the next couple of weeks on how to approach the holiday season with a sense of mindfulness and intention.

I will be co-hosting a Free Holiday Teleseminar on October 24th at 1:00 PM EST with Interior Designer Carla Ashton on How to Decorate Your Front Porch for the Holiday.  There are limited spots so be sure to sign up! We will be opening the line up for questions so come prepared!  We look forward to hearing from you!
