makes about 36 slices
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
6 day-old bread rolls, thinly sliced
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine the mayonnaise, cheese and shallots. Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of the mixture on each slice of bread. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown. These toasts will keep fresh in an airtight container for at least as week.
