Ingredients:
Serves 4
¼ cup butter, softened
1/3 cup honey
2 teaspoons fresh red chili, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1 ½ pounds large shrimp, cleaned and deveined
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Prep:
In a medium bowl, mix together all the ingredients except the shrimp and lemon juice
Add the shrimp and mix well to coat.
Place the shrimp on skewers.
Heat a heavy, dry skillet over high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Don’t overcrowd the skillet: fry the shrimp in batches if necessary.
Arrange the cooked shrimp on a serving platter, sprinkle with lemon juice and serve immediately.
