Just returned back from market in Atlanta. SO many fun things to report on. Colors, animals and the next it thing.

1) Birds

Birds

Birds were everywhere at the show. Fun ones like above and simple metal ones. I even saw a chandelier with handblown birds on it. No matter what, birds were everywhere!

2) Swings

Porch swings

Swings are all the rage but not for the porch….for the interior of the home. Perhaps in the kitchen, a hallway or the sunroom, indoor swings are a growing trend.

3) Round tables

Round table

Round tables were in every showroom I went in. The most popular was a 60″ round. The one showed above is a 48″ round and one of my most favorites. SO much so it’s going in my breakfast room.

4) Brass

Brass is back

Brass is back and in a big way! This time around though brass is sophisticated, cool and very vintage feeling. Something I love about this brass, it’s being combined with moody greys, rich walnuts and fun pops of color! Me-yow!

5) Color

Orange and blue

Aqua and orange are still really strong. It was ever present in every showroom…and I mean everywhere!

It was a fun trip. I always love to see all the upcoming elements in home decor and look forward to using many of these items in my upcoming projects.
