Are you ready to clean your house in one full sweep? Several weeks ago I was contacted by the robotic vacuum company, bObsweep. They asked if I’d be interested in trying the classic bObi out around my home. Like other robotic style vacuums, bObi has a charging dock, a sleek design, and a fancy remote control. But would it clean my floors the way that I wanted? Would it really save me time like it claimed that it would?
Well David and I decided to have a little fun with Miss Bobi. Since she is now a member of our family, and she promised to make my life easier and reduce my cleaning time, I was up for the challenge. We plugged in her battery, got her set up and then fired her up the next day.
We filmed two videos documenting our fun experiment. One getting her unboxed and set up, and one showing how easy she was to use. Our new kitty Miss Winnie also joined in the fun.
I think you’ll find great entertainment in how much Miss Winnie enjoyed Miss Bobi. Initially bObi was a little scary. But now after a week of using our new family member Miss Winnie loves to play with her as she cleans. Unfortunately, we tried putting Miss Winnie on bObi to roam around the house, but big butt Winnie made Miss bObi bottom out. So no fun cat videos for you tube. Whomp whomp.
Oh and I should also mention that like us, Miss bObi is keeping mama earth in mind. She has a low environmental impact which we love.
What’s more, unlike most regular or robot vacuum cleaners, bObsweep is RoHS certified to ensure maximum customer safety and minimum environmental impact. The base material for many electronic products includes hazardous substances such as lead or mercury, both of which are hazardous to the health of human beings and animals, in addition to creating toxic e-waste in the environment. An RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive certification requires that a product is free from the following six hazardous substances:
- Lead (Pb)
- Mercury (Hg)
- Cadmium (Cd)
- Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+)
- Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)*
- Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE)*
So without further ado, here’s my family and I getting acquainted with Miss bObi.
Here’s my family and I firing up Miss bObi for the first time. This shows her ease of use, and intuitiveness.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop simultaneously. With just the push of a button, bObi automatically glided across my floors to pick up dirt and dust. We’ve used bObi three times in the house, and she kicks butt. She is easy to use, and has no difficulty cruising over my wood floors, carpet and area rugs. And she provides great entertainment for Miss Winnie who chases her around the house. We call that a win!
David and I plan on doing another video to show Miss Winnie with her new friend, Stay tuned!
