One of the best things about remodeling your bathroom is selecting the faucet, or what I like to call the jewelry.  Getting rid of that outdated brass fixture and updating it with something a little more fresh. All of the finishing touches add that necessary sparkle but none of them do it better than the main act. Faucets add style and personality to your bathroom in an instant. Whether you prefer a sleek contemporary look, or everyday traditional, faucets are highly versatile and mix well with all sorts of looks.

Bathroom faucet

My favorite faucet of choice is one that is sleek, easy to use and chrome. I know that there is all sorts of fancy new finishes out there, but none are more classic and decadent than chrome.  One of my favorite new places to shop for sleek faucets is overseas. They have many cool choices to choose from and their designs are refreshingly different than what is here in the states. Not to mention they use fun words like bathroom taps instead of faucet and offer neat styles like these from WD Bathrooms:

There is nothing I like more than putting a unique faucet in a powder room or guest bath to delight the eyes. The element of surprise is what design is all about and everyone has to use the faucet at some point. It’s like using functional art that instantly creates a conversation. What are some of your favorite things about faucets? Do you have a finish preference? I bet you’ll be looking at faucets a little differently now.
