Some people hear the word “entertaining” and twitch just from the shear thought of trying to be a ‘hostess with the mostess,’ thinking it’s hopeless to even attempt. Well, I am here to tell you that it isn’t impossible, nor is it inconceivable that you can be a great host. Entertaining is definitely and art, but too often a host turns their party into a fulltime vocation of planning, organizing, baking, and buying to which they feel exhausted before it even begins. Entertaining does not have to be a chore. The whole point of the engagement is to visit with friends, and have fun doing it, right?
My goal with this category is to offer great short cuts, easy how-to’s and stupidly simple recipes to make it look like you put in a lot of effort, when little was invested at all. A fabulous party, without all the work! Love that!
