In my continued effort to be green this year I have been testing all sorts of home made cleaners for around the house. My latest obsession: All natural wood floor cleaner. Here in the South every home comes standard with wood floors. But with wood floors comes dust bunnies, and even though it is almost Easter, that is not a good thing! Here at the office we have wood floors throughout. I often open up the backdoor of the studio so Harley and Tabby cat can look outside. And then it happens….the sun hits the floors just right and there is a thin layer of dust, pollen, and dust bunnies with kitty toe prints in it! AHHH!
This new cleaner that I have been using requires very little, and it can be kept in an old milk jug or laundry detergent container. Put all the ingredients in the jug, shake it up and you are ready to go. The floors will be clean, and no kitties will be harmed in the process!
1C Tea Tree Castile Soap
1 lemon
1 Tbsp Vinegar
10 drops tea tree essential oil
6-8 C of warm water

I will have to try this. I have noticed tea tree oil showing up in so much lately.
Happy Friday, Amanda.

Actually, the dust bunnies were even worse up north, and with radiator heat! Oh, they were everywhere, all year long. We have parquet floors now (not my favorite, but they came with the house) and the dust isn’t as bad. But I like your “solution”: will have to try it!
Have a nice weekend Amanda…
P.S. Love the new picture of you!
